South Coast Clinical Trials is a specialized research company widely recognized as one of Southern California’s premier providers of clinical trials for Central Nervous System disorders and conditions such as bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, depression, Alzheimer’s Disease among many others.

We currently conduct our studies from three sites in Southern California: Anaheim, San Bernardino and our most recently established site in Norwalk. These multiple sites permit us not only to serve trial participants in different locations, but oftentimes offer treatment options to otherwise underserved populations.

SCCT was founded in 2001 by Dr. Adonis Sfera, M.D. who has been serving the community in his general and geriatric pyschiatry private practice for more than 15 years, and who continues to do so at our principal trial site in Anaheim. Dr. Sfera created SCCT in hopes of aiding in the discovery of new and more effective treatments for the very challenging disorders and conditions he encountered daily in his practice. He has since assembled a team of highly experienced professionals to assist in bringing these promising treatments to the people who need them.

Currently, SCCT has four physicians conducting studies from our various locations, each of whom shares Dr. Sfera’s founding vision, to provide exceptional service in the field of clinical research. With patient welfare as our #1 focus, Dr. Sfera and his team are uniquely capable of providing outstanding patient care while at the same time providing timely and reliable data for our pharmaceutical sponsors.
